Thanks to Francesco Fullone, The Cosenza Exchange is proud to have his beautiful photographs of the church records from the frazione of Santa Maria La Castagna and the church L'Annunziata (which burned down in a fire in the early 1820s). Santa Maria della Neve was built in 1823 to replace L'Annuziata. These records will allow the descendants of Montalto Uffugo to go back even further to research their ancestry. These records could have been lost to time forever, had it not been for Cesare Ritacca who saved and preserved these precious records. The baptisms from 1746-1929 can be accessed here.
